“Borderless” - New legal conference on migration law organized by the RAV in Jena

The Republican Lawyers' Association (RAV) is launching a new series of events on migration law . From June 12th to 14th, 2026, the first Lawyers' Migration Law Conference will take place in Jena. Under the title "Unbounded," legal professionals, academics, and practitioners will come together. The conference aims to demonstrate how law, society, and migration intersect and where new avenues for social action can emerge. The Hohenheim Days are characterized by a Christian foundation that supports migration without losing sight of the common good. The event has always been supported by Caritas, Diakonie, and the DGB regional branch, and is now one of the most important conferences on immigration law in Germany.

Speyer Migration Law Days

The Speyer Migration Law Days follow a more academic approach . Scholarly presentations are complemented by practical statements, stimulating intensive discussions. The event is aimed at representatives from administration, the judiciary, the legal profession, migration counseling services, and volunteers. Under the academic direction of Professor Dr. Constanze Janda, the Speyer Days convey methodology and didactics in migration law and place particular emphasis on the connection between theory and practice.
